About The Event

The BHT Fundamentals Clinic is designed for participants from all backgrounds and disciplines, at all levels of experience in their given field. Its purpose is to introduce you to the principles of Kalley's Balanced Horse Training (BHT) Program, both on the ground and in the saddle. Introduction to her principles of groundwork are designed to improve connection with your horse, raising the human's spatial awareness along with the horse's spatial responsiveness. Groundwork in the Fundamentals clinic is all performed online, laying the foundation for Kalley's style of Liberty work. The Riding portion of the clinic focuses on exercises that evaluate and develop ,or strengthen control, and basic communication. These exercises are the building blocks of the BHT method for developing collection and refinement. Regardless of your goals or where you and your horse find yourselves along your journey, the BHT Fundamentals Clinic is designed to help you identify strengths and weaknesses, while giving you tools that will facilitate progress and success.

As an aside; The BHT Fundamentals clinic is also the perfect venue to suss out the issues of a Problem Horse.
